Salt Fish Grading System

This system is able to precisely grade the quality of salt fish based on its color and shape. The optimized algorithms are able to grade up to 120 fishes per minute, thereby increasing the throughput by 100% compared to a single human grader. In addition the automatic grader will give a completely objective result every time, ensuring that the fish can be sorted much more precisely.

Our partner customer used to grade fish into only two categories. Now, because of the increased precision, he can grade the fish into four different categories and thereby use a more optimal pricing model. The profit increases because customers are more satisfied and it is possible to handle claims more easily using the images stored from the scanner.

Conveyor Belt Inspection

The grading system is very flexible, and can easily be adapted to other industries such as fresh water fish, poultry, meat, actually any industry that needs quality assessment based on shape and color.

Our system can store a 3D representation of any object. With a system that can follow the fish to its final destination, it is possible to look up and inspect the fish in 3D at any time.

This can be useful when customers making claims on the product quality. Because it is possible to re-examine any product item right before it was packed, and based on that information, determine which action to take. Eventually saving money from unrightful customer claims.
